The Airport Operations Officer inspects, observes, and evaluates land side and airport facilities and provides a variety of services to tenants and the general public to ensure their safety, security, and to achieve compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations. Assists emergency services and coordinates responses. PREFERENCES: Ability to operate airport video recording systems. Per FAA Advisory Circular 150/5210-20, selected candidate must be able to demonstrate a functional knowledge of the English language. Knowledge of FAA regulations pertaining to public use airport facilities and inspection procedures. Basic computer skills. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint software skills. Effective oral and written communication skills.
