We are currently seeking a Project Manager with experience working on Aviation projects, including terminals and concourses, to join our team in Texas. Candidate can live in Dallas, Houston, or Austin. As a Project Manager, you, in partnership with the Project Architect and Project Designer are responsible for project financial performance and team communication. You would manage one or more projects during all phases until completion and direct employees and consultants at all levels to ensure that proper steps and procedures are taken and that the work is completed as planned, budgeted, scheduled and in conformance with design intent. You would also work closely with clients to manage project expectations and work with the PIC to manage clients.
Required Skills
Terminal and concourse design and management experience required (HUB airport experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems.
Thorough understanding of project work plans, schedules, staffing, and budgets.
Thorough knowledge of buildingSMART, Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Integrated Project Delivery (IDP).
Advanced knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.
Ability to manage multiple projects of a complex scope.
Possess strong hand and advanced CAD drafting skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop preferred.
Proficiency in Primavera or MS Project preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency in Deltek Vantagepoint preferred.
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work in team environment.
Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience required. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 7 years’ experience in architectural practice with management experience in all phases of projects through post-occupancy.
Experience with Aviation projects required.
Licensed Architect with current registration in your region preferred, if licensure is offered in your region.
