Manage the day-to-day activities of Pearson Field, the City’s general aviation municipal airport and part of the Vancouver National Historic Reserve, a federally designated national historic site. Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the airport and its facilities. Prepare and execute annual budgets. Direct and perform maintenance activities. Oversee long-term airport planning and develop economic opportunities associated with the airport. Provide staff support to the Aviation Advisory Committee; and coordinate airport operations with the Federal Aviation Administration, Washington State Department of Transportation Aviation Division, and other federal and local agencies.
