Posting is for a Full-Time (40 hours/week with full benefits) Airport Operations Agent position at the Tallahassee International Airport. Position is a great opportunity to be part of a developing Airport and gain valuable industry knowledge, training, and experience in all areas of Airport Operations. This position performs airfield, perimeter and terminal inspections, enforcing airport rules and regulations. Provides customer assistance, and other operations and emergency response coordination. Inspects airfield, terminal, perimeter and grounds for compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Transportation Security Administration Regulations, airport rules and regulations, leases and agreements. Staffs as needed the Airport Communications Center and monitors security cameras, access control, and other systems. Maintains activity logs and other records. Performs related work as required.

Minimum Training and Experience Possession of an associate’s degree in aviation management, business or public administration, communications, criminal justice, or a related field and one year of experience in aviation, law enforcement, firefighting, emergency management or communications, military service, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Necessary Special Requirements In accordance with 49 CFR Part 1542, employees must successfully complete a fingerprint-based criminal history records check and personal background check prior to employment. Must possess a valid Class E State driver's license at the time of appointment.
