								<description>Louisville,  As an Air Service and Marketing Intern, you will assist in support and coordination of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority&#39;s strategic marketing and air service development at Louisville Muhmammad Ali International Airport, will support ground handling operations and work closely with the PR Department.  
You will have the opportunity to work with experienced staff, learning various aspects of air service development, airline strategy, route performance, marketing and communication.  You will support strategic marketing and customer engagement events.  Your responsibilities will include data research, in depth study of existing routes and identification of new opportunities.  Assist in planning, set up, attending and breakdown of customer appreciation events, tabling launch and sporting events, community festivals and fairs, and assisting with social media initiatives including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts.  This position is subject to working evening, weekend and holidays and must be flexible.  Will work up to 30 hours per week. 
 Must possess a valid driver&#8217;s license and maintain appropriate Authority driving and escort privileges in the secure areas of the airport. 
 Ability to act with integrity and professionalism. 
 Proven ability to appropriately handle confidential data, materials and correspondence. 
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. 
 Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines.

 Employment Standards/ Education/Experience: 
 
 Applicant must be enrolled in a 4-year College or University (or recent graduate within one year) preferably working towards a degree in business, communication, public relations, marketing or a related field. 
 
 
 Attitude:  Must exhibit a strong desire to learn and be self-driven to complete tasks in a dynamic environment. Must be adaptable to quickly changing goals and objectives.

								<description>Glacier Park International Airport,  This is a highly structured and selective internship program designed to give the incumbent experience in all facets of airport management including: Operations, Planning, Aircraft Rescue Firefighting, Security, Maintenance, and Administration. Work will include a combination of daily operational duties, rigorous training, emergency response, and comprehensive project work. Interns will also have the opportunity to attend an A.A.A.E Conference and begin networking with other Aviation Professionals.

 The one-year Airport Management Internship Program is divided into two phases. 
 The first six months focus on Operations. During this phase, the successful applicant will report directly to the Director of Operations while working toward ARFF, EMR, and ACE Operations certifications, in addition to performing both day and night shift duties. 
 The second six months focus on Planning and Development. In this phase, the successful applicant will report directly to the Director of Development while working toward ACE Planning and C.M. certifications, as well as assisting with project planning and coordination, land use, and regulatory compliance. 
 Successful applicants will have a strong passion for Aviation, and specifically, Airport Management. &#xa0;Applicants will also be ambitious individuals with the capacity for a high workload. &#xa0;The internship consists of a 40-hour work week, and overtime as required (weekends, holidays, nights, etc. if necessary). &#xa0;Beyond the job, applicants are expected to prepare for their certifications. &#xa0;Candidates should be highly motivated in pursuing airport management as a career field.&#xa0; 
 The GPIA internship boasts a 100% job placement rate in the aviation industry.&#xa0; 
 Requirements: &#xa0; 
 Incumbents must be able to pass a federal background check and security threat assessment, have and maintain a valid driver license, and pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical.&#xa0;

 Minimum Qualifications: &#xa0; 
 
 Possess a High School Diploma&#xa0; 
 Possess a bachelor&#8217;s degree in aviation management, aeronautical science, or a closely related field; or current enrollment in such program&#xa0;
