The Clark County Department of Aviation is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Airport Escort Supervisor position. This position plans, assigns, supervises, and reviews the work of Airport Escorts, trains staff in work procedures and equipment use, and interacts with and resolves problems with contractors, tenants, safety/emergency responders, and County staff regarding escort services at the Department of Aviation. Further, this position assists with airfield emergencies, safety, and security issues in both the movement area (runways/taxiways) and non-movement area (ramps and perimeters). Individuals in this position will oversee a large diverse work group who handles perimeter gate security, performs aircraft relocations in the both the movement and non-movement areas, and escorts emergency personnel to all locations on the Security Identification Display Area (SIDA).

Education and Experience:
Equivalent to an Associate's Degree and three years of full-time experience in airport ground operations/ transportation. Prior lead or supervisory experience necessary. A Bachelor's Degree preferred.
