General Description and Classification Standards The purpose of this position is to act as an SMS Manager Regulatory and Compliance Division. This position assists in the development of the Safety Managements annual business plan, implements the SMS Operations objectives that support the plan, and assists in preparing the operations annual operating budget. The SMS Manager conducts timely and comprehensive investigations of all accidents and safety incidents. Prepares factual reports to appropriate divisions summarizing the circumstances and root causes of the accident or incident, and then follows up with recommended corrective and preventative action to be taken.
