As an Airport Operations Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of airport facilities and equipment. Your primary duties will include conducting regular inspections, repairs, and maintenance of runways, taxiways, signage, lighting, and other airport infrastructure. You will also be required to monitor airfield conditions, respond to emergencies, and assist in coordinating airside activities between air traffic control, ground crew, and pilots. Additionally, you will be involved in performing safety and security inspections, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and protocols. This role requires of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The candidate for this position should have a strong technical background in aviation operations or a related field. A relevant certification or associate degree in aviation maintenance or operations is preferred. Prior experience working in airport operations or a similar role is highly desirable.
